Hi! At Mindit Health, we understand that plans can change and unforeseen situations may arise. To ensure fairness to both clients and mental health professionals, we have outlined our cancellation policy below. Booking a session with us indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
All therapy and consultation sessions must be booked and confirmed in advance. A session is considered confirmed only after successful payment.
Once confirmed, the allotted time is reserved exclusively for the client.
Sessions may be cancelled free of charge only if the cancellation request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time.
Cancellation requests made less than 24 hours before the session will be treated as late cancellations.
In the case of a late cancellation:
• The session fee will not be refunded
• The session will not be rescheduled
• The session will be marked as utilised
A new appointment will need to be booked with a fresh payment.
If a client does not join the session within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be considered a no-show.
In such cases:
• No refund will be issued
• No rescheduling will be permitted
The client will be required to book a new session.
In rare circumstances where a session needs to be cancelled from the therapist’s end, the client will be informed in advance.
The session will either be rescheduled at no additional cost or adjusted based on mutual availability.
Mindit Health is not an emergency or crisis service. Cancellations due to emergencies requiring immediate medical or emergency intervention do not qualify for refunds or rescheduling unless initiated by the therapist.
Mindit Health reserves the right to update or modify this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being published on the website.
