MindIt Health
Choosing therapy is a meaningful step toward emotional well-being. MindIt Health acknowledges the courage it takes to begin this journey and is committed to providing a safe, ethical, and professional therapeutic environment.
Before therapy begins, a consent form will be shared by the assigned psychologist. By signing the consent form, permission is granted for MindIt Health to provide mental health services. The policies mentioned on this website and in the consent form may be updated from time to time without prior notice.
MindIt Health provides therapy and counselling services using an eclectic approach. This allows therapists to adapt methods and techniques based on individual needs. Feedback is encouraged, and clients are advised to communicate any discomfort during sessions. Crisis support is not provided. Services do not include emergency intervention, self-harm prevention, or crisis management outside scheduled sessions. All therapy services are limited to the duration of booked sessions. Appointment coordination takes place outside session hours.
All therapy sessions must be paid for in advance within 12 hours of slot confirmation. If payment is not completed within this time, the appointment slot may be reassigned. Payments are accepted through UPI applications, bank transfers, and debit or credit cards. Card payments may include additional processing charges, and individual payment links will be shared when applicable. Payment confirmations must be shared through the designated administrative communication channels. Therapists are not responsible for verifying payments.
Sessions may be rescheduled without charge only if requested more than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Both the therapist and the administrative team must be informed in case of rescheduling or cancellation. Requests made within 24 hours of the session will be treated as last-minute cancellations, and no refunds or reschedules will be provided. Failure to join a session within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time will be considered a no-show. In such cases, the session is forfeited and must be rebooked with a new payment. If a session is rescheduled by the therapist, prior notice will be given.
All therapy sessions are confidential. Session notes taken by therapists are for professional use only and are not shared without explicit consent. Clients are responsible for ensuring a private and secure environment during sessions. Recording or sharing sessions in any form is strictly prohibited. While reasonable technological safeguards are used, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. In the event of a technology-related breach, neither party will be held responsible.
Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with applicable mental health laws. Disclosure of information may occur only when legally required, necessary to prevent harm, or to ensure continuity and quality of care. Administrative and supervisory access is limited and strictly regulated.
For clients under 18 years of age, parental or guardian consent is mandatory. Parents may receive general treatment information where legally required. Detailed disclosures are limited unless there is a risk of harm.
If there is a reasonable belief of risk to the client or others, consent is granted to notify appropriate individuals or authorities to prevent harm.
The therapeutic relationship is strictly professional. Personal, social, or business relationships outside therapy are not permitted. Communication outside sessions is limited to scheduling matters. Information shared on the MindIt Health website or social platforms is for awareness purposes only and does not substitute professional therapy or emergency services.
Clients agree not to seek private therapy with therapists affiliated with MindIt Health outside the platform. In the event of therapist unavailability, consent is given for transfer to another qualified therapist. Case notes may be transferred internally with confidentiality maintained.
Each therapy session is 60 minutes in length. Additional time or extended sessions may be requested and will be charged accordingly. Any extra time beyond the scheduled duration is billable.
By signing the consent form, clients voluntarily agree to receive mental health services and participate actively in their treatment. Therapy may be discontinued by therapists if professional boundaries, safety, or ethical standards are compromised.
Therapy may lead to emotional improvement and personal growth, but outcomes vary. The process may involve emotional discomfort and challenging discussions. No specific results are guaranteed.
MindIt Health is not an emergency service provider. Clients experiencing emergencies must seek immediate local support. MindIt Health and its therapists are not liable for self-harm incidents occurring outside sessions.
MindIt Health does not voluntarily participate in legal disputes or provide documentation unless legally compelled. Any court-mandated involvement may be chargeable at standard professional rates.
